It is important that chronic conditions are properly managed, slowing, and even preventing decline. True comprehensive care is a team effort between yourself, our highly experienced nurses and our Doctor. Frequent appointments will be necessary at first, but the goal is to reduce these to six monthly visits. During these, all your scripts, repeat bloods and any specialist referrals needed will be taken care of. This way, you can make the most of enjoying our beautiful town, without the hassle of doctor visits. Scripts & Referrals
An appointment must be made with the doctor to have scripts & referrals written. Alternatively, if you are a patient of the practice, you may be able to order your script or referral online via HotDoc Fees & conditions apply.

After Hours
An after hours service is provided 24/7 for patients of our practice. Residents of our community who are not a patient of our practice are requested to contact their own doctor's surgery for any after hour cares required. Traveling patients from outside the district may be seen at the discretion of our Doctor. Fees vary depending on time of call out. Please see our Fees page for further details. Palliative care is offered to the long-term patients of
Shore Care Family Practice. Our team keeps in close communication with the palliative care teams of Bundaberg & Gladstone so that patients have the opportunity to be cared for in the comfort of their own home. |

Thursdays 8:30am to 12:00pm. This is a new clinic designated to be able to provide comprehensive Visual & Dermascopic Skin Checks $90 Including but not limited to: Basal-cell carcinoma Squamous cell carcinoma Melanoma Moles Phone our receptionist on 4902 2018 to arrange a skin check appointment on a Thursday morning. |
